Word of mouth recommendations are built on respect and trust of who gives them. They are so many times more powerful than any self promotion. Building that respect and trust is all about the personal relationships customers have with the travel company, tourism office, hotel, restaurant and all other factors of an experience.
When the people customers deal with are happy, polite, knowledgeable and helpful, then the experience is a positive one. It makes sense!
